About the new game
Mar. 12th, 2008 11:27 amSo, this was one rough string of 5 days xDD
It started on my Birthday, (friday, I'm 28 now.) when I joined a new free MMO called Holic online.
When I started the game, it was three days into an event, where you were given a pet and if you could level it up to level 20 by the 12th, you could keep it, and if you got it to level 35, it could become even better. Part of this was that it couldn't level past your own level, which meant in order for my bird to get to level 35, I had to as well x.x
What followed was a crazy 4 days of grinding out levels. I barely slept. On sunday my Mom bought me two 2ltr bottles of Mt. Dew and I never looked back xDDD And when I absolutely needed rest, Sker was nice enough to do some grinding for me. It was exausting! Someone in the game called me "Hardcore". It's the first time thats ever been mentioned with me and gaming as the context xDD In the end though I succeeded! I came in late only to catch up and complete the event anyway! And in the meantime, I got a break from the things that have been bothering me, like the nonexistant state of my rps ^.^||
In other news, we went to Red Lobster for my birthday, it was yummy! And my Mom got me a Gameboy Player. It's an adapter that attaches to the bottom of the gamecube so you can play your Gameboy Advance games on the TV and not waste your GBA batteries ^.^
Thats pretty much all I have to say for now though. Oh yes, and here's the link for Holic in case anyone wants to try it out. It's free, and very cute! :D
